Melody Ratcliffe

Teaching Assistant

Hi my name is Melody and I began my training at Sarah Royle at the age of 10. In my time at Sarah Royle, I have been so lucky to have experienced many proud moments and achievements, and I have gained the most amazing skills, friends and memories.

Among some of my achievements are distinctions in all of my intermediate exams, successfully auditioning for Dane Bates Inspiro company and the Mission Inspire Elite Company. I also reached the UKDCC champion of champion finals and came 3rd overall in Jazz. Furthermore, I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had in assisting with the younger classes and even choreographing for the SRSD in house comp. I recognise how important this is in extending my own skills and experience, helping me reach my dream future as a dancer.

I am beyond grateful for the medals, trophies and examinations I have worked towards, but most importantly for our supportive dance family, the inspiring teachers and countless memories.
